The New ILUMA ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX in Singapore
Step by step and sign by sign, slowly but confident, with every new design project revealed by avant-garde designers, we are introduced into a new era …
of interactive communication between city and city inhabitants. The time in wich the artificial environment related to us through a flat, inert, white wall or through an impersonal glass façade slowly passes.Today’s architects and designers, share with us a new design, one involving more than just materials in the color of light.
WOHA ARCHITECTS is one of those groups set to share with us, through the design of the NEW ILUMA ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX in the Bugis district of Singapore, their vision of what the near future could look like.
The complex, designed with undulated shaped facades, gives away beautiful colors and light, becoming not just a painting in the middle of the city but a canvas on wich artist can show of their work. That works just perfect with the aim of the complex, to attract people of worldwide nationalities and culture into an entertainment center that brings together cinemas and performance centers, restaurants and opened gardens.
The whole place could become a concert of light and color, shining in a spinning evolution of our society.
